"HELP WITH MY MONITOR"

I am having a bit of a problem at the minute with my screen. i was sorting out the wires tne otherday, and then reconnected them and the picture on my screen was all out of place. i tried moving the image with the control panel on the monitor, but it wont work. i then took the wire out and had a look, and i could see one of the pins was bent, so i tried to bend it back, but it still wont work......

Please Help...

Bah, best thing to do is never touch your pc. Ever :o)

heh its gone... most likely been gentle when removing monitor cable out of the PC socket i learnt once.... totally ruined my christmas full of blue!

whoo is correct. if you replace the plug and its still like that you could be in trouble tho. i find monitors to be too fragile, I've had two go on me in the past 5 years, and they have never moved from my desk.

If the pins damaged then you can replace the plug. I've done it on old monitors, just need to find a wiring diagram or look at the old plug to work out which wire goes where.

Is the pin still intact? Sounds like you've screwed it to be honest...
