Bought a few new albums the other day, both excellent. First one, David Holmes presents the Free Association - really brilliant breakbeats and bleepy bleepy dance stuff. Second one, Rawkus presents Soundbombing III, a new compilation of rap and hip hop artists, people like Q-Tip, Method Man etc.

Just thought I'd tell you. Watch this topic slide down the list of threads.

I've been spending far too much money on music recently.

And I just ordered 3 Maiden albums and 2 LA Guns albums yesterday.

I got Chris Cornell's album on an impulse.. It's actually quite good (in places). But for some reason he decided to do a special French version of what was presumably the most marketable track just for the European version of the album.

There's something comic about Chris Cornell hollering "Elle chagera le monde" and then having to sing the next few lines in English because there's no way you can translate them into French and fit it into the rythmn.

the Audioslave (poo name) album comes out on my birthday. I'm looking forward to that, as allegedly it is completely different to the demos. Even though Cochise is *exactly* the same as one of the demos just with a different name and a video featuring fireworks and pigtails.
