Roy Keane could be in trouble with the Football Association again after revealing he wishes he had punched Alan Shearer before being sent off at Newcastle last season.

Keane got his marching orders for pushing Shearer who had wound the volatile United skipper up with his time-wasting tactics.

And, in his new video - Roy Keane: As I See It - Keane says: ``I was sent off for pushing him (Shearer) - but if you`re going to get sent off, you might as well punch him properly. It`s the same punishment.

``You might as well get hung for a sheep as a lamb. It was just a push, though. Ridiculous.''

Fair play to him, he's being honest. But you would have thought he had learned his lesson by now.

the media. sometimes you have to laugh at their patheticism. It's akin to a Sony fanboy sometimes. or even, a girl. If something can be taken two ways, and one of them is bad, they will always, without fail, take it the bad way.

What he say is true though -

A push and a punch - slightly different things but he got sent off for a the first.

a lot of the media make a big deal out of things like this without really making head nor tail of what he's trying to say.

you can see what they think "I should have punched him" says Roy Keane
when you can clearly see he's not saying that.
