It's not very good is it?
Mind you, neither was Fight Club. The movie was, but the book was a bit dull.
I find myself thinking "I dont care" when he keeps talking about his mum and the mental old people and the stuff in the theme park makes me yawn.

I've stopped reading Choke for now and have moved onto Survivor.
It seems a bit better, but as I read I keep hearing Edward Norton's voice in my head.

I thought it ruled. Survivor's cool too, as is Invisible Monsters. I just like the way he writes, his style appeals to me a lot. As does what he writes about, basic nothingness all heading towards a clash at the end when it kinda makes sense a lot more. 'Specially with Invisible Monsters.

I'm reading this and am about 12 chapters in. I personally think it's great.

Not my normal choice for a book. I got it in HMV as part of their "2 books for a tenner" thing they've got going on, and Grix had been raving about it.

I think it's a little weird, but good all the same.

I got bogged down about 6 chapters in, but I have a suspicion that it was because lots of good new PS2 games came out. I'm ashamed.

Survivor's good though, but I saw the main character as Billy Bob Thornton. Actually, there's a good interview with Chuck Pahluniak (whatever) on The Onion's AV Club website, including an interesting Margaret Thatcher anecdote.
