What an over-rated load of pap this guy is. Beyond the Germany v England rout, I've never seen him play a decent game, the england side played better without him during the world cup than we have since with him in the squad and now Liverpool manager Houllier has all but blamed the 3-3 scoreline against Basle on Gerrard's bad form. Note: first half, Liverpool underperform, and concede 3 goals. Gerrard gets subbed at half time. Second half, Liverpool perform far better, and score three goals.

One is left to wonder what would have happenned if Gerrard hadn't played at all. I'll tell you what would have happened, Liverpool would be looking forward to playing in the 2nd phaseof the Champion's League.

Houllier has reversed his stance on Gerrard, saying he will bounce back quickly.

Dumb.

I agree with my idea of loaning him to R&Ds :P

You will note, that I said: "(Before he got injured in an England game, in which, he scored), you will have seen that he WAS playing excellent Football. Same goes for last season aswell.

I think you'll find that I thought he was playing good BEFORE he got he got injured. I agree with everything Houllier said, so shaddap. ;)

The injuries he has recieved hasnt helped.

He seems to get injured every other week! Its always gonna be hard to perform your best when your in and out like that.

IB, you don't actually realise that what you've written here, is a load of crap. If you actually watched Gerrard (Before he got injured in an England game, in which, he scored), you will have seen that he was playing excellent Football. Same goes for last season aswell.

Next time, try and think, before typing "what you think would make sense".

I don't think that Gerrard is that bad of a player. Before the World Cup he was playing some terrific football, but after recovering from the injury he has had, it seems that his form has gone.

I'm sure that he will be back to his best soon.
