You're Console Christmas Shopping Guide!

This forum is here for people to find the best consoles. If anyone disagrees add some stuff onto this forum please. We'll start with the oldest.
Playstation
Nice: The playstation is a nice looker.Well rounded and cheap(er)
Its controllers are nice too. There easy too hold and all buttons are accesible easily.

Nasty:The anologue controllers are a bit clunky and you can't save without a memory card. The games tend to be slightly 2D and don't leave you free to explore the levels. This is shown by games like the awful Tarzan or Tiggers Honeyhunt.

Overall: If youre strapped for cash this is your man. 6 out of 10

N64
Nice: Shigeru Miyamotos done a god job on the controllers and the slick sides look great. The anologue replacing the D-Pad is good and all buttons except the L button are easy to reach. The bonuses are the 4 players (Not seen on the Playstation unless you buy a pricey add on) You can save onto the cartridges and you don't need boxes.

Nasty: Most games are around £40 to £50 so VERY expensive for a normal person. The cartridges are clunky and sometimes need a good blow before they will work. Some games cannot be played without an expansion pack (Since there around £50 thank god DK64 came with one)
the buttons tend to stick after a while and some hi-res games jerk a bit

Overall: A nice bit of work but a bit expensive. 7 out of 10.

Dreamcast

Nice: God sent! Better than the N64 when it comes to slick programing. The switches are great and the modem is nice! The games leave you free to go where you want and are gorgeous!

Nasty: The games need a lot of money (Take Shemnue) controllers are a bit weird and it costs a hell of a lot to just buy the console!

Overall: This is more like it! Nice one Sega! Bit pricey but a good buy. 8 out of 10

Playstation 2

Nice: This looks GREAT! Its a beuty! The controlers are OK a leetle bit like Nintendos but this is great! The games look brilliant (Look at SSX Snowboarding)

Nasty: Still very expensive and is just really an updated Playstation.

Overall: Great but pricey. If you're still on pocket money save up to buy a PSX (Playstation) or N64. 8 out of 10.

I'll update this with the gamecube when it comes out. So have a happy consoleing christmas with Sony Nintendo or Sega! Just remember
that there may be waiting for you in the giant Santa's sack that is Special Reserve there could be a PSX, N64, DC or PS2 waiting for you!
Thank you.

P.S A good shopping Game Guide will be out soon from Bullo!
P.SS I'm not a branch of Special Reserve!

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Best Provider
The best provider I know of, never a problem, recommend highly
