I stay inside now most days. The sound of rain and it's cleansing freshness is my comfort; my own. I used to be able to hear my own through the walls/ But now double-glazing comes as standard. No choices. No chance. No way to avoid the transition. Leftback;left behind;left of centre;left aligned. And so I wait. Endlessly. listening for the sound of the rain, for the aura. To tell me I'm still alive.

I'm ok with rain, as long as it isnt cold at the same time, but I dont mind getting wet. Listening to rain in a tent is cool, cos it is so loud and...well it's just good!

Seeing rain is proven to be depressing.

Hearing rain is proven to be therapeutic.
