Just bought an Xbox yesterday and can't get a picture on the TV!

The actual Xbox itself is coming on okay. Have connected everything up as instructions - scart adaptor with the 3 coloured leads into the back of the TV. Has anyone any ideas?

Look for the button on your remote that either says AV or had a little picture of a rectangle with an arrow coming out the corner. Keep pressing it until you find your Xbox picture.

if its portable tv try channel 0 or something. if you use the scart adapter that is.

If your TV has 2 scart sockets, press the AV button twice to get a reception from the second imput.

Are you pressing the AV button??? Not a normal channel, it revies extrenal devices signals ie xbox. It might be beside the number 0 on your remote.

You don't tune in Xbox if you have the standard cable, go to AV and it should be there. No tuning.

If that doesn't work, try hooking it up though your video player or something. If you have sky etc then mabye thats why its hard to get a signal.

You have got to run it through your AV channel unless you have an Advanced Scart Cable, that should work as long as you have turned it on from the sockets ;)

Do you use that small "scart brick" thing, i had the same problem. It might be best to get an AV lead (ask someone who uses it, I use the RF connection)

Have tried all that and retuning the TV manually.
