However, let us not forgot that the "other" two releases are well worth picking up too. Both Ratchet & Clank and Lord of the Rings demand your attention IMO.
Ratchet & Clank. The seamless progression on from Jak & Daxter. Maybe it's better. Who knows? I for one, am enjoying this. It's a good-platformer. Dare I say it, I'm enjoying it more than I enjoyed Mario Sunshine. After I put Vice City back in it's box. Promising it'd get it's moment tonight, over the weekend and quite possibly into the foreseeable future, Ratchet & Clank is a platformer that needs to be played.
Lord of the Rings. I wasn't going to buy this. I hate movie tie-in titles. GoldenEye not withstanding of course. But after seeing it in action and hearing the gushing praise from a couple of the guys in my local indie, who haven't steered me wrong before. I bit the bullet. Decided against purchasing a Datel X-Port and picked this up instead.
The intergration between the movie sequences and the game are impressive and aren't interupted by any obtrusive loading-times. It's effectively a very nice looking and polished Golden Axe or Streets of Rage. Sans a 2-player mode, which would've been nice. It's a good game. Defintely worth your attention too.
So remember folks. There is more to life than Vice City.
Allegedly.
> Boring. Now who wants to talk about GTA? :)
Yeah. Go on then.
*Gets his coat*
Call me childish but i'm looking forward to Spyro: enter the dragonfly.
