My game idea is about a tribe of neanderthal people, you play the tribe leader who has to lead the rest of the tribe through life, you start off at the age of about 15 and you have a wife and 3 children. A day lasts about an hour, your people even slowly age. You meet other tribes and lone people or even have battles with them other people can join and leave your tribe but you can only have a maximum of 15 people in your tribe.
You have to do tasks like hunt animals and collect wood, and you can order your tribe members to do different tasks so the game has a strategic element to it. You can even trade technology with other tribes and upgrade you weopons. If you kill a sabretooth tiger or a mammoth not only can you get meat from it but you can use their teeth or tusks to make weopons.
In the game you have a resource mangement like Age of Empires 2, You can build huts and the like but to make it more realistic it takes about half a day to build a hut, and that's just depending on the weather. So some members of your tribe could be building your base while others are out hunting for the nights supper, if your base gets attacked you can move out and rebuild wherever you like.
You have your own hut and you can choose what time you sleep but there are bad consequenses if you don't get much sleep.
There are many different animals to catch including fish, mammoth's, tigers, wild boars and many more. If you don't catch enough food your tribe members will eventally get ill then die, if you get certain fruit off certain trees you can plant it and grow fruit in you base to eat, but you have to be carefull becuase other tribes might try and steal you fruit!
The game would be a third person adventure with a whole world to explore, the aim of the game is to basically just lead your tribe through life and interact with other tribes, you win the game by becoming the most powerfull tribe there is.
