I personally thought that the film was pretty good, despite what others say. One comment that has to be made though is that has Myers taken a bath or something? His mask is bright white and his clothes don't have a spec on them.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but I liked the way the first scene ended (without giving away spoilers), as it kind of bought an end to ONE part of the entire Halloween series, also as a kind of signal that the series is wearing thin and will probably end soon (as the film leaves it open for another sequel :P).

I, unlike others, thought that the internet/webcam thingy was a nice touch, and enjoyed Busta Rhymes' performances - he just sounded so suited to the role, as this film was more of a teen flick than anything else, and kind of strayed away from the normal formula. At least these numerous teens allowed a reasonable body count, though, as I counted a total of 9 people dying.

There was some stuff in there which was just too over the top and could only be dismissed as only damn hilarious.

Still, I enjoyed the film overall, especially with the nudity, gore, swearing etc which makes up a teen movie. I'm not a big fan of most teen movies (I Know What You Did Last Summer etc) but this one stuck it out for me as being the best.

I suggest you go see it (if you haven't already). I'll certainly be getting the DVD when it comes out :)

The Halloween films should just stop being made!
Watch 28 days later instead. Much much better.
