Strange as it may sound, Nod32 v2.7 - no problem. As you have gathered Nod32 v3.0 is the problem. After much hair pulling, it seems it may not like Zone Alarm Pro or vica versa. So re-adjusting access perimeters within ZA has actually got me 'posting'. Strange, but no other 'secure' site was affected ie banks etc.
Unfortunately, I have just created a new thread for Schepps's birthday and it seems two have appeared!!! How odd is that. Believe me I only made one. So could you be a good moderator and delete one:)
PS the staffies were informed yesterday, still awaiting an answer.
If all else fails, blame the staffies :P
Shut down and restart no less - isn't milk brilliant - you can all sleep soundly tonight and I hesitate to say this, but mi box o'tricks seems to be behaving as far as the forum is concernded:)

Have now reinstalled Nod32 and have got this far. Maybe now be a problem with internet access allowed by Zone Alarm Pro re: ESET Gui. Have changed 'access' defaults - so let's see if this works:(

To prove a point, have reinstalled Nod32 and ... you've guessed it no post ability. Had to temporarily disable it to get this far. Any suggestions?

My problem has happened again - cannot post or reply to posts. Discussed this with Freeola support and sent email of 'error' and screen dumps of problem.
Solved problem now. Last post was 18.14 yesterday, then problem started. Managed a post at 20.whatever, then down again. Only change to pc was installation of nod32.
Just done system restore to before installation and Bob's your Uncle - works:D
Anybody else with Nod32 problems?

Had the same problem for the last hour!!! No spyware, as suggested by Support, no nothing infact - except loss of secure site status and posts being bounced out and page returned to an advert for Freeola's wonderful services.
All now seems fine:) What a conundrum....
