I'm not sure about what drives people to it, but i have a friend who'll happily criticise people caring about celebrities, eastenders and the new tv series starting next week on itv.

Then he picks up nme and reads through the life of some vaguely obscure indie musician.

Easy to criticise, but is the only difference that you make a different kind of person your celebrity?

I think they should have shaved her bald and released her into the wild. Naked.
