Heard a rumour that the all-time great Bret Hart was making a come back - anyone heard this rumour and know if it's true or not?
For WWE? They't probably miss it, I don't think they make reference to past storylines...

Hmm, here's a thought...a while back the WWE were looking to align Chris Benoit...who trained at Stu Hart's dungeon, with a manager to make up for his lack of charisma (as they saw it)...is that just too obvious?

How many other non-wrestling positions will there be though? We've already got two General Managers. If they bring back commissioners as well then we are all doomed, just as it was for a while in the Alliance angle when we had Vince (Owner of WWF), Shane (owner of WCW), Steph (owner of ECW, with Heyman), as well - - for a short period - Foley as WWF commisioner and Regal as WCW commissioner. There was just too many roles.
DDP is supposedly trying to come back as a commentator, which could work, but what role could Bret occupy? I think he won't any - I can't see him being used in any other than a guest appearance capacity, probably at WM. OR, maybe he could become a manager, though they are a dying breed these days...

Apparently he's going to be a guest referee for some match at WMX9. Rumour has it he's gonna clock Vince one.
It could be true, but he won't be able to make a comeback as a wrestler. FACT.
The brain damage that Bret Hart sustained as a result of a botched kick from Goldberg in WCW means that one blow to the head could leave Bret brain dead. Therefore the WWE will find it impossible to get Bret medical clearance to compete, thus invalidating their insurance.

Unbelieveably, there is some substance to this rumour. Bret and Vince have reportedly been in contact since Bret's crash, and there is a chance Bret Hart could appear on WWE television again.
Vince needs something major to spark interest in his product, and improved relations would mean Bret could get his hands on old archived footage of his matches that Vince won't give him access to.
Now HBK is back, imagine Bret came back too (as they supposedly hate each other's guts - plus HBK said he was in on the 97 Survivor Series screwjob), and decided to wrestle one more match .... HBK vs. Bret Hart (Vince as guest ref) at Wrestlemania 19 anyone?

I highly doubt he will ever have anything to do with the WWE ever again. I doubt he will go back to wrestling aswell.
