The FA have yet again charged Patrick Vierra, this time over his behaviour in the match against Leeds.
Is this a witch hunt to run the man out of Engligh football or is he a thug who deserves all he gets ?.
My view is that he is 100% committed and this sometimes overspills (like in the game at West Ham last season when he was rightly punished). However, he is not a dirty play in the mould of a Vinny Jones or Mark Dennis and does not deserve the all the criticism, fines and suspensions which come his way. His two sendings off at the start of this season and the resulting five match ban was an absolute joke. Sooner or later English football will lose a midfielder who for my money is among the top five in the world.
