Last weekend whilst travelling back to university I had to get a paper with a tv guide, my dad suggested that I go for the sunday sport, but I chose the mail on sunday £1.10 (inflation).
anyway after going through the tv guide I found a free wallace and gromit dvd.
I just got round to seeing it this week, the film A Grand Day Out is on it, looking a little fuzzy but full screen its ok, and its something different to watch when I get bored. The 2 wallace and Gromit short films are what they are promoting here to entice people to buy the full dvd with all the shorts on it. These 2 shorts are of proper dvd quality and the "autochef" is the funnyier of the 2 films.

This week they had the 20 number 1's cd with the saturday mail, it too is promoting something (haven't read what it is yet)its got some older songs on it which all went to number 1

Not bad for something that I buy only for the tv guide.

I just found another one of those free cds whilst I was tidying my room, I don't remember this one being advertised...
Sunday Girl
20 tracks of lady related songs
its not as good as the last free cd I got, but its got 'there she goes' by the LA's and a couple of other tracks that I like.

out of curiosity I checked what the "special offer" was...
the line they use is "update your music collection.."
5 cd's for £20 (+3.99 for p+p)
not many albums in their promotion that I'd want, so I'll give it a miss.

my mum couldn't get hold of a paper with the cd in it, maybe it was a regional thing.
If I'd known I would have got them one too.
