I meant to add to that last post...

If DVD players are expensive in Japan, you'd think THAT would be where they'd disable the RGB, as it's surely more likely that they would want to copy to VHS for friends, etc.

So get a decent quality cable! :-)

The DVD quality through the supplied cable is actually quite good on my Wega, but not so hot on the games.

You could always get an S-video cable, though.

Of course, it would have been much better all round if Sony UK hadn't botched the innards of our units. They haven't done it anywhere else, so I don't see what difference there is in the UK market!

But you can't play DVDs through an RGB cable, and that's a major setback. As soon as you start using low-quality cable, you might as well be watching a VHS tape.

Costly Chocolate chips, maybe, but at least the Playtation 2 will smell nice!

Just a few corrections...

No it won't. But a version of MGS will.

Actually, it's pretty good.

Nope!

It gives me migraines.

And finally...

If you put your bar of Cadbury's inside your PS2 and leave it on overnight, the following morning you will awake as an owner of some of the most costly chocolate chips ever.
