It may be hard to believe, but there is a nation, the most populated in the world, that is yet to see the power of the Playstation 2. Whilst it was in development in Japan (yes, before it's design was released to the world), a Chinese official told Gamesmaster magazine that he knew it would be purple and Gamesmaster reported that China weren't allowed a release of the Playstation 2 after America feared they may use the powerful computers for their own darstedly deeds.

So how come, after being released for two years already in the UK, China are only just getting the Playstation 2 in the early months of next year? It's not to do with the cpu inside the console, more to do with piracy issues. But Microsoft have released their console, the X-box in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore recently, so it's no suprise Sony is following with the Playstation 2.

It is still hard to believe, though, that these countries haven't even seen the original Playstation in a Chinese release yet! Not even a release of the newer version, the PSOne! Have the Chinese even played on a Super Nintendo yet?

This is some wierd potatoes I'll say!

You know some Chinese peoples' fingers have mutated due to using mobile phones, maybe they think that technology is the evil green dragon.
