I am using flash buttons to create the nav bar for my website, only problem is that I don't now how to link to a HTML page from a flash button. I'm guessing it's something like
on (release) {
_root._getUrl([url]);
}
But that doesn't really work, so could somebody that knows a bit about flash help me here?

Heh, your Flash animations are actually very good, I havn't got the patience to do much in Flash but I can still use it :p.

Well if he doesn't know how to do it then he can use that, always good to check your scripts ok, i'd rather get the auto scripter thingy to do it for me than to upload a 1Mb file onto my server and find out it doesn't work.
Also, I don't see how using it makes me a Novie :p I can still do the things you can probably :p just a lot faster :D

That really is the easiest function :p
(normal setup)
double click on the timeline to get the actionscript box up.
click on the button you want to add a url to. click on the 'add url' text in the actionscript box, click on the input box at the bottom that says:

and type in where you want the button to go, test it out before saving.

getURL ("http://www.phi11ip.com", "_self");
}
Just copy that as an action and change the link and it should work!
The "_self" bit is the window you want it to open in, I think that will open it up in the main window...
