Thought I would check to see if this is supposed to work like this...

Normally when I create an email account for a domain, the email and domain name would share the same SR number.

Lately I've noticed that when I create new email addresses for different domain names the SR number is always the same - the one that belongs to my main MyFreeola account and ADSL etc.?

Hi Eccles,
Thanks for the reply. As long as that's how it's supposed to work, that's fine.

Although relating SR number with domain and emails did seem to work well.

NB. I had some trouble trying to post this message!
I kept getting re-directed round and round in circles (see email).

Hello,

The sr number assignment has been like this for a while now.
You used to have and sr number that was shared between a web space and email accounts. Now you do not need to create an email address when creating a web space for your domain there is no need to share sr numbers. Email addresses and web spaces are now separate from each other.

As you have seen, this doesn't effect the functionality of you email address, domains or web space.

And I thought I was going daft - apperantly not! I bought a new domain last week, and when setting up the email for it I noticed that the SR number was already in use by me, the first email address I created was SR??????-003 and not 001 as you would expect - I never thought to say any thing at the time as its working fine, but I did think it strange at the time
