Last November I saw this band, Fat Truckers, supporting Pulp on tour.
I thought they were fab.
So far they've only released a couple of singles on 7", but I just discovered their website.

If you leave it for a while you'll get a taster of forthcoming single 'Anorexic Robot'.
It's quite demanding of bandwidth though, so you might not see/hear much with a regular 56k dial connection.
