Hello and welcome back to SRW Do or Die! You're joining us live from the sold out arena here in merry ol England! Up next we have the Street Fight between Dead Wonder and newcomer Jackal. Take a look at this…
*Montage of footage plays of the feud between Jackal and Dead Wonder*
"DEAD STAR!!!" "Coming down the aisle weighing in at 293lbs, the challenger DEEEEEEAAAAADDDD WONDER!" A huge uproar can be heard as Dead Wonder appears from beneath the curtains. He makes his way down the aisle, not staring at anything except the ring. He sure looks focused tonight.
"Piano music plays" A mixture of boo's and cheers erupt in the arena as The Jackal comes out carrying his favoured weapon - the 2 by 4 wrapped in barbed wire! The Jackal walks slowly down to the ring with a sly smirk on his face after giving The Rat, DW's friend, a beating.
Ding, Ding! And we are straight into the action as Dead Wonder takes The Jackal down, knocking his 2 by 4 out of his hand and laying a barrage of punches to The Jackal, but The Jackal reverses it and begins to lay the beating on DW! Back and fourth we go as the action spills to the outside! Finally the Jackal gets off DW but gives a stiff kick to the sternum, keeping DW down.
The Jackal goes round to the side of the ring and pulls out a Ladder! The Jackal turns round but only to be met by a Superkick delivered by DW, knocking the ladder into The Jackal's face! DW grabs The Jackal and throws him into the guard rail. The Jackal clutches his back in agony but DW keeps up the assault by dragging him up the rampway, giving heavy blows to The Jackal's back to keep him down. DW is now setting The Jackal up for a Suplex, but The Jackal reverses it and DW hits the rampway, hard! Now what's The Jackal doing? He is pulling off bits of plastic of the Guard Rail….SMACK! Straight into the back of the head of DW!
The Jackal grabs DW and drags him right up to the top of the ramp where he picks DW up and heaves him underneath his legs! The crowd is going nuts in despair. Not off the stage surely…JACKALKNIF…. But DW gathers some strength from somewhere and takes The Jackal down laying another barrage of right and left hand attacks. Finally DW gets up and grabs a Steel Chair! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! A simultaneous row of Steel Chair attacks to The Jackal. Who is now busted wide open!
DW finally throws the chair down and snaps at a worker here in SRW, telling him to let go off A Ladder; he doesn't, so DW sends the ladder toppling and the worker flying into the crowd! Ouch that’s gotta hurt. DW turns back in the direction of The Jackal and sets the Ladder up near the Titan-Tron. DW climbs the steps and then steps onto the top of the Titan Tron…"Get up you son of a b***h!" shouts DW. The crowd goes wild as The Jackal gradually gets up and turns…. DW jumps and connects with The Missile Dropkick! The force staggers The Jackal backwards, he is near the edge of the stage! CRASH! The Jackal just flew off the stage!
The Jackal lay there in a crumpled mess, not moving at all. Paramedics rush in but DW runs over and shoves them away. He picks Jackal up and drags him back towards the ring. There halfway down the aisle when DW picks The Jackal fully up and is about to slam The Jackal face first into the guard rail! But The Jackal reverses it and slams DW's head against the guard rail instead! Jackal picks DW up and throws him into the ring. He picks DW up and whips him into the ropes, swinging neckbreaker! The Jackal runs to the outside and picks up a trash can, before climbing back into the ring.
BANG! The Trash can dints as it hits DW's back hard! The Jackal throws the trash can down and signals towards the crowd, not onto the Trash Can surely?….The Jackal has got DW on his shoulders, but he's toppling backwards! HURRICANRANA to the outside to Jackal!
DW picks up the dazed Jackal and whips him into the ring post! The Jackal staggers round before getting a DDT on the outside. He picks The Jackal up and throws him back into the ring where DW whips The Jackal into the ropes, clothesline by DW. DW whips The Jackal into the corner and follows in with a huge clothesline knocking The Jackal down. What's DW doing? He's placed the steel chair in front of The Jackal. DW runs and is about to drop kick the trash can into The Jackal's face when…SMACK! The Jackal smacks the steel chair over DW instead! DW just got busted wide open with that chair shot.
The Jackal slowly slides to the outside and searches for something underneath the ring…A Ladder! He slides back into the ring and slams the ladder down onto DW's chest! The Jackal circles DW and begins to talk trash right in his face. The Jackal is now setting up the ladder. Slowly but surely The Jackal starts to climb the ladder, but he stops after a few steps. This match has really taken a lot out of these guys. The Jackal begins to climb the ladder once more, but so does DW who is now up and climbing the ladder on the other side! Both men are only a few steps away from the top of the ladder. After a anxious wait for the crowd. Both men begin slugging it out on top of the ladder. The crowd is really getting behind both men here. Finally DW blocks one of Jackal's punches and DW grabs The Jackal by the neck….SUPER……..PLEX OFF THE LADDER! What a manoeuvre!!! They seemed to hang in mid-air! The crowd is electric as the two men lie on the canvas in exhaustion after a massive move by DW!
DW finally rolls over and makes the cover…1, 2
KICK OUT!!!!!! Amazing! The Jackal just kicked out of a superplex off the top of a ladder!!!
DW can't believe it! He is protesting that it was a 3 count! The referee just tells DW to carry on with the match though! DW turns round but is met by a Low blow from The Jackal! Why the cheating!!! But the referee didn't see it! The Jackal whips DW into the ropes, clothesline attempt by The Jackal, but DW ducks it! DW bounces back and clotheslines the ref! The Jackal pulled Referee in front of him! DW turns round and is met by a Superkick by The Jackal! Boo's can be heard throughout the arena aimed at The Jackal and his cheating ways. The Jackal is now starting to climb the ladder, but once again DW is climbing the ladder too! Much to the delight of the sold out crowd here in England. When both men reach the top of the ladder. The Jackal gains the adavantage and signals towards the crowd…Not off the ladder, surely? But what's this? The Rat has come running through the crowd and into the ring. The Jackal hasn't seen him and he is halfway through his Jackalknife Powerbomb when The Rat pushes DW off The Jackal's shoulders back onto the ladder! The Rat gives The Jackal a stiff blow in the back of the head allowing DW to hit….THE DEAD DDT OFF THE LADDER! Oh my god, what a manoeuvre! The Rat wakes the ref up who sees DW making the cover over the fallen Jackal. The crowd count with the ref…1….2…
3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all over! DW has finally overcome The Jackal In an amazing hard fought Street Fight! As the Referee raises DW's hand, the crowd cheers wildly. DW has suffered some injuries here in this match, so too has The Jackal but he doesn't care, he's won and that’s all that matters.
Well The Rat sure helped DW gain the victory here, but what will The Jackal make of it? What will be The Jackal's next move? Find out only on SRW Eclipse!

Great Match. I liked the ending with the Dead DDT off the top of the ladder. :D
A tough hard-fought match there - congratulations to DW, and to Scott for a well written piece of great grappling action. As for The Jackal, will he now pursue revenge, or look to regain the No.1 Contender spot?

That was one sweet match Scott, full of action and I loved the innovative use of the ladder. Fave bit was when DW (I think) was going to run up to the chair, jump off it and smash the ladder into Jackal (or something like that), and Jackal reversed by picking up the chair and smashing DW in the head. :D
Also, we rarely see people thrown off the stage in SRW, nice touch.

BANG! The Trash can dints as it hits DW's back hard! The Jackal throws the trash can down and signals towards the crowd, not onto the Trash Can surely?….The Jackal has got DW on his shoulders, but he's toppling backwards! HURRICANRANA to the outside to Jackal!
DW picks up the dazed Jackal and whips him into the ring post! The Jackal staggers round before getting a DDT on the outside. He picks The Jackal up and throws him back into the ring where DW whips The Jackal into the ropes, clothesline by DW. DW whips The Jackal into the corner and follows in with a huge clothesline knocking The Jackal down. What's DW doing? He's placed the steel chair in front of The Jackal. DW runs and is about to drop kick the trash can into The Jackal's face when…SMACK! The Jackal smacks the steel chair over DW instead! DW just got busted wide open with that chair shot.
The Jackal slowly slides to the outside and searches for something underneath the ring…A Ladder! He slides back into the ring and slams the ladder down onto DW's chest! The Jackal circles DW and begins to talk trash right in his face. The Jackal is now setting up the ladder. Slowly but surely The Jackal starts to climb the ladder, but he stops after a few steps. This match has really taken a lot out of these guys. The Jackal begins to climb the ladder once more, but so does DW who is now up and climbing the ladder on the other side! Both men are only a few steps away from the top of the ladder. After a anxious wait for the crowd. Both men begin slugging it out on top of the ladder. The crowd is really getting behind both men here. Finally DW blocks one of Jackal's punches and DW grabs The Jackal by the neck….SUPER……..PLEX OFF THE LADDER! What a manoeuvre!!! They seemed to hang in mid-air! The crowd is electric as the two men lie on the canvas in exhaustion after a massive move by DW!
DW finally rolls over and makes the cover…1, 2
KICK OUT!!!!!! Amazing! The Jackal just kicked out of a superplex off the top of a ladder!!!
DW can't believe it! He is protesting that it was a 3 count! The referee just tells DW to carry on with the match though! DW turns round but is met by a Low blow from The Jackal! Why the cheating
3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's all over! DW has finally overcome The Jackal In an amazing hard fought Street Fight! As the Referee raises DW's hand, the crowd cheers wildly. DW has suffered some injuries here in this match, so too has The Jackal but he doesn't care, he's won and that’s all that matters.
