The Beatles are always being talked about and listened to, so why not create a Beatles game, based on the Yellow Submarine film.
The basic premise is easy, get the Blue Meanies to stop their evil and rescue the various members of St Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club band before it's too late.
The game would have songs throughout, with the bonus of being able to replay them as music videos when you get past each stage. It would be set in the style of the Lucasarts games such as Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle. The voices wouldn't even have to be done by the Beatles themselves (they weren't in the movie)
Watching the blue meanies create havoc around the landscape and having technicolour fun in a Beatles influenced world would be a fantastic experience and there is plenty of room for humour too.
So all you'd need is love (and a PC) and this game would be great!

I think a game should be made of Grease. Imagine the possibilites of being either Danny or Sandra. You could get into the music in a Bust A Grove kinda way and have a racing bit to tie in with the end scene. There could be a section where you have to pie the football coach, just like Eugene did!

Just an idea though

I'm sorry you feel that way Mr Sven. I saw the Yellow Submarine film as a tribute to the fab four and it encompassed all the virtues of the Beatles in their later period. I also enjoy lucasarts games and would have seen this format as the best way to represent them.
If the Beatles can set up a website, then why not have a game? Feel free to come up with a better game if you have any ideas, I'm sure the wealth of Beatles material could bring about lots of ideas. I think the Beatles were the best band in the world, ever, and would not insult them in any way.
Just so you know.

What a pathetic winning topic. Sgt Pepper's would be a crappy game with no point and an insult to all Beatles living and dead. I did my A-Level music project partly on The Beatles and I wouldn't like it to be associated with you or your game. Still, well done though.
