Anyway, he wanted me to go into town with him, his lass and her friends. My mate Wal is away in York (working) so he couldn't go, my mate Fos is still hung up over his ex, and Jay's lass reminds him of her, so he didn't want to go either. So it was just Jay and I going down to meet his lass Ashley. We had a bottle of Grolsch each at mine, then went out in the rain to get the Metro into town. I only had a thin black jumper, and he only had a t-shirt, so to say we were a little cold and wet would be an understatement.
We went to Buffalo Joe's, a cowboy themed bar where all the barmaids wear cowboy hats and bikinis. Nice. Had a few pints, had our pictures taken with these lasses who were there, had a few more pints and talked about everything there is to talk about (had a lot of catching up to do)
His lass showed up after a couple of hours, and by then the bar was pretty packed. I was about ready to call it a night before they showed up, as I wanted to get the Metro home at about 11pm (before the last one) but I liked the look of Ashley's friend, so was persauded to stay so we could go to Baja, a club across the road. Was getting on pretty well with her friend, though I can't for the life of me remember her name. It was one of those hillbilly style double names, something Anne. Anyway, Ashley started feeling ill (been drinking all night before they met us) so we waited outside for her to feel better. Being very immature, we kept trying to get the two lasses to get off with each other, but alas, it was in vein
Ashley didn't want to drink any more, or go into any more clubs, but it was too late to get a Metro home by then, so we had to get a taxi. Originally, Jay was going to sleep 'round mine, and we'd get a taxi there, but since we now had two lasses with us, that idea was scrapped. They lived miles away from me, so I said we'd drop the Anne girl off at hers, then Jay and his girl at her house, then I'd get the taxi to my place and leg it from the taxi driver (since I didn't fancy paying that much money) So we waited to find a fat/old/soft looking taxi driver, someone I could easily outrun, heh, and we got in a five seater one with this guy who was about 40. Trouble with five seater taxis is that they're not like normal taxis, as the doors are locked while it's moving. I was a bit worried about this, but I saw they unlocked everytime he stopped the car, so I thought I could get out, pretend to go around to his side, getting my wallet out, then leg it up this road where cars can't go (big barriers blocking it) then double back and go to my house (obviously I wasn't going to get dropped off at my own street, that would be stupid) I'd done it before with my mates when we all ran from a driver because we couldn't afford the fare, and we got away with it, so I thought I could do it again
Anyway, dropped off the three of them, then I told the driver to take me to Benton (the area I live in) He was really surprised that I was willing to pay the bill for everyone, especially since Benton was so bloomin' far away from where we were. He seemed worried, but I told him I had plenty of money (I had no idea how much I had) Had to wait 10 minutes to get through the Tyne Tunnel (quickest way home) all while the metre was running. I kept turning around to see the metre, and it was already over £14. I gave him directions to where I wanted to be dropped off, but because of the glass he could hardly hear me, and we went right past it. I told him to stop and he turned around and asked if I had the money, and where I lived. I noticed the doors were locked, so I was screwed. £25 the fare was, and I just had enough in my wallet, so I had to pay him before he unlocked the doors. I was well peed off.
Just talked to Jay on the phone, and he says he'll pay me back for most of it (would've only cost me £7 to go home if we hadn't gone to drop them off first) but Jay says a lot of things, and I know he's in debt with people he knows right now anyway, so I doubt I'll get my money back.... If he gives me £15, I'll call it even
Not only could I have gone home on the Metro for free (with my pass) but if Ashley hadn't said she was ill, we would've gone to a few clubs and I'm sure I would've got myself in with her friend (was getting on really well with her towards the end of the night)
Ah well, at least I didn't hang a hangover this morning, I only had a few pints of Worthing (only 3%) and a few shots of JD and some other, weird, stuff

Hey, I didn't fancy forking out a lot of money for other people's fares

That wasn't me (well, I did get arrested, but I didn't smash the stuff)

One, he could never have caught me
Two, he could never have beaten me up
Three, of COURSE you feel sympathy for me! I'm the MoJo Man, everyone loves me ;-)

LOL, and then the driver would have had a cardiac arrest at all the running.
It would have been better if you ran away and the fat drive caught you and beat you up
Ha ha
