I like Mark Kermode, his French Connection documentary is one of the best DVD documentaries I've seen. He also makes friday afternoons more interesting on Radio 5, where he gets to slate a load of mainstream films and cream himself over the exorcist, a film he's seen some 200 times apparently.
No. Not at all. The Excorsist is crap (well it's ok) and he says it's the best film of all time. He also wears far too much gel and ruins film at the start on Filmfour.
Mark Cousins is ok. He was annoying on tv but his radio show is better.

He has written the definitive essay on The Exorcist, gave a superb reading about The Shawshank Redemption, knows more about films than you or I and is nowhere near as annoying as Mark Cousins.
Cousins really burns me, he's a facietious pompous little assball that has to include the phrase "Taxi Driver" in every single intro he ever did on BBC2
Kermode is actually a really nice bloke, and the Q&A he did with Ian Softely after a screening of KPAX was excellently fun and informative.
