Guys.

I just wanted to say how chuffed I am to finally have my PS2! It
finally arrived a week after the launch date. There I was panicking
that I wouldn't get it or the postie would loose it! OH NO - It has
landed!!!!!!!! Sorry to rub it in for those who don't yet have one.

But trust me - IT IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

This IS the most powerfull games console in the world and the limitations are endless. Does anyone know much about the plans for
internet gaming and hard drive etc?

I can barely contain my excitement. Only problem is I'm back at work
today and boy am I gutted!

I think you mean the POSSIBILITIES are endless!

I'm sure the Dreamcast fans will have a field day with this one, and I admit I found it amusing myself.

OK.

Yeah I meant POSSIBILITIES! I guess I lost all sense of
grammer in my excitement. So sorry.

Dreamcast fans can kiss my butt! All that - ''Oh, the Dreamcast is better than PS2.....moan...moan...moan''.

Well fellers - you ain't got a PS2 and I have. However I would be interested in seeing how the Dreamcast sizes up against the PS2. Let's face it, at the end of the day they're only games consoles to relief us from the monotony
of everyday life.

Dreamcast sizes up pretty well, but the choice should be goverened by the games you want to play and nothing more.

My personal view is that the games I really want will be coming to the PS2 either first, exclusively, or at the same time as other formats, so for me it's the best choice.

I did consider a Dreamcast, but held on for the PS2 because, even a year after release, there isn't a sufficient quantity of games that *I* want to play on that format.

Nice one Wookie, those are the wisest words I've ever heard in the PS2/DC/PC debate!

Everyone should choose a platform for the past, present and future games. I'm only switching from DC to PS2 because of my love of EA games (FIFA, NFS etc.) & some Sony games such as Gran Turismo. The DC has some superb arcade games like Crazy Taxi and Virtua Tennis but I personally get bored with this style of gaming.
