This could be my last post ever on the forum. (Sniff). Tragic as it may seem, I may have to leave you all for a long time, due to the necessity of upgrading my current computer. This will involve a tricky 2 hour operation, memory upgrading to 128Mb, and a new graphics card. If all goes well, I could be online again sometime this afternoon.
However, as you all probably know, PC's are a bit fickle when it comes to playing around inside them. Mine may not wake up at all. Should this be the case, I will bid you all farewell, nice to have known you and all that. If I'm not back by 4pm today then the worse will have come to pass and I will not be online again for some months. So, in my absence, be good, give to charity, and remember, Bill Gates is not to be trusted.

Grrrrr! It didn't work. Well the memory did, that's fine, but I needed to get the right driver for the graphics card, and the site I need to get it from is currently offline. The 'grrrrr' is because I paid £89.90 for my extra 64Mb (including next day delivery from Gateway.) But then price is relative, it has a 100Hz speed 4 Clock compatibility with the existing 64Mb. Don't know what that means, but looks like I paid through the nose for it. Humph.
I take it that it worked then?
