Hi people...

I've been a bit quiet lately, busy working away. But below are may latest two projects. Im after some feedback regarding the CSS display in various browsers/platforms. I know they all work as they should in NS7/IE5.5&6. These aren't designed to display in NS4 before anyone tries!

They'e all CSS heavy, especially the Compass designs which is why I'm after some feedback.

Yeah, Gecko, although they call it something else these days I think.

Hehe, I'm glad I could help, although I can tell you I noticed that pixel difference immediately :-) At 1600x1200 too :-)

As Whooo pointed out, WIP is Work In Progress. All we do is add a name entry to the registery to point to a different IP so when we register WWW we also ad WIP to the registration. We don't do this for all sites, only those which need to be reviewed outside of the company otherwise we just add out own internal WIP entries on the DNS.

Simple!

For a moment there I started to panic, but oddly enough, it's so minor only a true geek like you would notice... 1 pixel!!! And I assume when you say rendering engine you mean "gekko"?

Thanks Rob for affirming my faith in geeks!

Work In Progress. Just points to the work in progress server instead of the normal www server.

On your, erm, "Philosophiccal Gourmet Report" the menus are out of line on the latest badass bleeding edge Mozilla 1.2b, which I should point out is the same rendering engine as NS and AOL, heh.

Apart from that it's just dandy.

I was using Mozilla on Win98SE with 1MB/s broadband.

Tyla, your first site took a while to load.

Second one was up straight away.

Nice sites, I like the design. (pat yourself on the back!)

Twain, you first site didn't load after 20 secs so I stopped trying. Sorry.

Quick question Tyla, how come your addresses say "http://wip...etc" rather than www?

Looks good tyla.

Twain, start another thread, it'll only get confusing doing both.

Tyla, had a look, and both sites come up fine. They look great, nice job.

Twain, your site didn't load up.

I was using IE6 on Windows 98SE, by the way.

On the same subject, I would also like feedback about the CSS displays on my website:
http://netwise.bravepages.com
or
http://netwise.tk

Please tell me which browser you are using, and what you get onscreen.

Thanks!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Brilliant service.
Love it, love it, love it!
