I'd just like to say that the God is real topic is most enjoyable.
Not because I enjoy bashing religion (leave out the bashing bishops gags please), or that I like taking the mick out of people, but it has been a civilised, continuous debate without people resorting to personal digs, and not taking offence in other peoples posts because they are not the same beliefs as theirs.
Unlike the posts about 'Which console is the better', where people cannot resist calling someone a fanboy for having an opinion, the god thread has provoked intellegent argument from intellegent people.
Constructive argument makes this place. I come here not only for the latest grapevine news, (and the GAD, obviously...), the debates are a real lure. I am more than happy to admit I am wrong when proven otherwise, but being called a fanboy is hardly telling me why I am wrong.
Well done also to the people involved with the god thread that managed to stick up for their beliefs regardless of the opinion of others without getting upset. Religion is a touchy subject, and the people standing up for what they believe in without getting nasty deserve credit.
