This big long wait for psx 2 is stupid, i knoww its a great
console and the graphics are out of this world but in a year
the console will be down about a hundred pounds.
All those people wanting to get them first are fools, just wait
and you'll get it for half the normal price.
I'd rather get it Christmas day than wait till new year,
so just think about it.

A PS2 for £100 in a year.... I doubt that very much. Sony may reduce it to £200 for next christmas provided that they have their supply problems sorted.....
The reason that I got a launch day machine - I wanted one and all I can say is that it was well worth it!! Fantastic!

I still think that 300 quid is good and I got one now and can enjoy games like TTT, RR5 and Timesplitters. GT3 will be out be March - May. The Bouncer will also be out early next year, MGS2-SOL will be out be the end of the year(2001). If you have to wait to next christmas 2001 for the console to be a litter cheaper there will be too many top class games out for you to play. I also think that the PS2 will be 300 for quite a long time as if Sony can keep selling it for 300 they wont drop the price. When sales start to slow a bit then they might drop it down or if the GameCube or X-Box come out.
Thought about it. Not worried what the price will drop to, cos I want it now. Well, I would if I didn't already have one.
I agree with Kieran - what is your point? If you wanna wait for the price drop, no-one's holding a gun to your head to make you buy one now, so wait.
If some of us have chosen to buy now, I don't see why you need concern yourself - it's not like we're spending your money.
