I think that the rumble pads in games are more than good enough to handle the games. If you really want to "feel you are in it", go and buy a real car, this is way they are called games or simulations. If you are really desperate to feel more rumble effects I suggest that you invest in the rumbling backpack/vest or the rare rumble mat that sits under your chair. If you are still not satisfied with that, sell your games and console and throw a real car around a rally track.

Why do people not read what i say properly!
I said you wouldn't get hurt, it would feel more realistic.

What is even more upsetting is that this whole topic should have just been appended to Sniper's original post, not started as a new topic. Computer memory is still an expensive commodity, and more than a football pitch in area is taken up by posts of this nature every single day. So we should protect our environment by conserving this valuable commodity, and always try to post in the appropriate place, and always try to stick to the topic.

(Am I serious?)

Don't be silly.

he is right though, there is a certain level that games can go to, they can't be as good as the real thing! but then i don't know how many rally drivers have lived through a 200mph crash into a wall! thats without the car getting a scratch aswell! N64's rumble paks are crap! they really weigh the controller down, I have two but they use the batteries up too fast and they're just annoying me now, don't really notice them that much anyway, just try my hardest not to get shot in the head by total novices. That would be quite a worry normally.

If it was me that said something to upset you Sniper then my apologies. If it was Virus then he can apologise for himself if he feels it necessary.

Who are you to say that to me!
Games will get more of a real feeling, soon to be of a good quality.

I'm lucky in a way, as a PSX player we have the dual analogue vibrator that gives you repetitive strain injury when playing Gran Turismo. That's it for PSX players. So to add a bit of spice I play in a swivel chair, and when I hit a barrier I get my mate to kick it from behind, and when I go round a corner he swings the chair from side to side. I'm going to patent the idea and present it to Sony at their next board meeting. It shall be called the FantasySwivelMeister. Available from all good games stores from February. £299. Pre-order now to ensure delivery for August.
