The roll playing game point of view, (as in you see you character and his/her surroundings friom above left, and from some distance,) is ok, but the first and behind charactrer 3rd person views i think are better, yet the idea and development behind behind RPG style games,( such as the in depth choosing of a character and the effect it has upon a game,) is very good indeed.

I would love to see more games in the future with 3D surroundings, (dreamcast Half life quality) incorporating aspects such as the influence of the RPG strategy and ideas into the games. Games such as Zelda and Banjo achieve this to an extent, however would it be good if we did not have to buy about 5 half life packages to enjoy the PC game from all angles and perspectives. The idea of choosing a characters race, attributes, skills, and hamperings is one that makes a good game, one to suit the individual.

The only real thing io can see wrong with this is the difficulty in creating it, maybe they do not do it because of the large disk space that would be taken up, but- Baldurs Gate 2 was on four disks?

just an idea, lets see what comes of it-
Greg
