I'd been wanting to see this for a long time after hearing about it, especially as it's by Kevin Smith, who of course wrote Dogma/Mallrats/Jay & Bob Strike Back etc.

I have to say that it was quite an amusing film. Sure, Dogma was loads better, but it still had some funny cracks in it. I didn't particularly like the love scenes, which I thought dominated a great deal of the end of the film. In a word, I prefered the first half of the film really. Much funnier.

I liked Ben Affleck in it, but I prefered Jason Lee (Banky), as he seemed to me to be the most amusing of the bunch. I was surprised to see Joey Lauren Adams doing a lesbian role, as after watching Big Daddy, I thought she was a priss. I guess I was wrong :P

Glad to see Jay and Bob in the mix. And Bob spoke! A number of lines! Matt Damon's cameo was funny also.

Good film. I might have to get it on DVD. Thank you BBC 2!

I must say, one or two things that were in J&SBSB make a lot more sense now that I've seen Chasing Amy

It was alright, got a bit slow towards the end though

It grew on me, but it's still my least favourite Smith film. The Chasing Amy scene flat out rocks, though. I taped it, so now the only film I can't watch whenever I feel like it is JASBSB.
