Forget teris, forget Super Mario Land, alleyway was the best darn thing ever to hit our tiny hand-held screens.

Not strictly a 'Mario' game, it starred our portly friend in a little pong type bat, moving to hit a ball against some blocks until they were all gone.

Ingenious levels, stupidly small bats and having to be precise made this one of the best GB games out.

I'm so glad that I got it out of my wardrobe now, its so addictive yet so bland...

Most people won't agree, so to them I say - argue! Put down your favourite original GB games and say why.

Give Shigsy the credit - he can't make new games all the time you know, and when he does, someone will probably rip him off on the internet anyway.

Just don't want Nintendo, or whoever made that GB game, getting the credit for it :)

Who said that you needed to be original to be superb?

Alleyway was a good, addictive game, but nothing original. The first ZX Spectrum 48k + game was a sideways version of Alleyway and I've also got a ZX Spectrum sequel game titled Archnoid 2: The Revenge of Doh. It's a classic, but nothing original.
