I have wondering how much you paid for MS Frontpage web designer? Because I have been using it at school and I really want to have it at home so I can make a website that I can call my own. I have used other applications but they are too hard to figure out, but since working with FP I have learnt how to use it almost like a pro.
I just want to know about how much you paid for your copies.

I've got Frontpage 2002 / XP and I find it does novices and amateurs justice. But pro's probably want something more advanced. Or something.

I think Frontpage is OK for us Novices, but not worth paying lots of money for. Something else to bear in mind is that a lot of web hosts don't support some Frontpage extensions.

1stpage2000 isn't a WSIWYG, + it's not just for beginers, Thats my main software...what do professionals use?

Also, if you buy Dreamweaver for £280, your being seriously ripped off :p you can buy the studio for just over £200.

If you want a decent web WSIWYG/Code program get Dreamweaver MX which comes in at about £280.

Or if you're poor get 1stpage2000 from www.evrsoft.com it's free and resonably good for beginner programming especially, like a glorified notepad.
