I played the ps2 and i spat on the carpet when i saw the loading time. it was really bad i know cds have to load but come on now for that long? will the gamecube have the same setback?
The gamecube should keep the annoying loading times down to minimum according to an interview on a us website recently.

Anyway, Nintendo are working on loading times. The reason loading times are so slow on the PS2 is because the memory isn't fast enough to keep up with the processor, so lag is created.
The memory on the Gamecube is this super fast stuff, I forget the name, but it's the best there is. And working with the Gekko as well, it WILL work perfectly. So any slow loading will be fault of the disc drive, which is being worked on.
So, the Gamecube is VERY unlikely to have slow loading.

it will suffer from some loading times that u nintedoids are not used to as this is nintendos first foray from cartridges.but how long . you can only wait and see
