ok when playing The world is not enough on dvd with my PS2 it worked fine absolutly no problems

this maybe because i had to buy a aerial cable cos we brought our tv just before they started makin tvs with em

the only slight prblem was that the sound made a few lines apear on the tv but not that much of a problem and when i tried it on my tv in my room via the SCART with the PS2 it was fine no problems AT ALL

I havent tried a RGB scart cable as my Old PS1 RGB scart cable doest work. Its becuase I was always taking my PS1 round to peoples houses and taking the cable in and out and it kinda fell apart. Everything works ok on the PS1 as all the connecters for the Scart cable are still there but the casing isnt that good. So iam still using the same lead I got with the PS2.
It maybe because you dispaly your TV as a NTSC picture like mine can so I can play certain Dreamcast games at 60Hz and full screen like the Americans.

This might be weird, but when I tried the RGB Cable on my 14" TV with Rock DJ (Robbie Williams) then there was the Green Picture you are all talking about. But when I tried the RGB Cable on the 28" Toshiba TV to my Surprise the Picture was perfect, and NO Green Picture! I don't know why it is like that, but I am not complaining as I get a perfect picture with either games or DVD's, and no need to swap around the cables!!!

When you say SCART do you mean the cable you got with the PS2 i.e. the SCART adaptor with the 3 phonos attached if so then YES the DVD works fine as this isnt a RGB SCART cable. In other words its only just better quality than a RF cable. If you use a RGB SCART ( The best picture quality) then the game picture will look better but the DVD will be green. I havent tried this but lots of other people have and some game websites ( Daily Radar I think)
