Designed to help community police officers around the town, it goes a mere 30mph and is run only by solar power, and only lasts 50 miles before it needs charging up again. So basically it takes some crook to go faster than 30mph and to take these officers on a 50 mile goose chase to get away.. Do you think this is a good idea introducing these for community officers?
NOT SLOWER!

Aren't they just for cruising sedately around their patch and not for high speed chases! Besides, if they're solar powered wouldn't it charge as they were patrolling? Ok, we haven't the sunniest of climates, but solar power technology does work on the cloudiest of days - or so I'm told:)
