Where lies joy and where lies pain?
Though tears are salt and water here,
Something stirs within the rain.
While hands come up to wipe them all,
Is it skin and bone that touch,
Is it still a look or word.
or is it something more like love.
Live in bars that hide your soul,
Constricting what you think you know,
Prisoner in your village dark,
While all around you stands aglow.
Strange things are afoot out there,
It’s true they make the world alive.
It’s not the wide awake that see them,
But those who choose to wake inside.
Hang on, there was something I had to tell you.
Ah yes.
You know some of those fine stories you've written in the past, (well I thought they were fine), anyway I found this website:
www.theedge.abelgratis.co.uk
They do a magazine full of stories, and they pay for them.
Thought it might be worth your while to send them something, you could make yourself a little cash. I'm going to give it a go, when I get a little more free time, but I'm sure you know all about that kind of thing!
