I quickly turned round to check that the lino didn't flag an offside and he hadn't so I turned around...
I then saw a football flying towards my face at a rather alarming rate, so as I had no time to react I tried to move my head out of the way...
Unfortunatly it hit my on the right hand side of my face, around the eye/forehead area. The thing is though, it bounced off with so much power that it shot straight past 2 defenders and created one of the best through balls I have ever seen!
My face may have stung for a while and went slightly numb around my eye but I laughed it off and carried on...

Can't remember anyone else!
Was it a boring side too?
And what about West Ham, any new Joe Cole's or Rio's coming through??
That's something to be proud-of - even if it was only an U-11's match.
Just think... you could have been watcing some of tommorow's stars, way-before anyone else!
I reffed West Ham .v. Arsenal once...
May have been the U11s but that's not the point!
