Game shops can be very anoying sometimes for instance, you would see a game that is really good, all you'r friends have it, so you rush out with 2 months pocket money to buy, and they havn't got it.You would think that for really big, and good selling games they would have alot in stock.
Also whenever you want some info about a game, or relese dates, or when they will get a game in stock it is nearly always "Hang on a minute i better go check!"
Or "Sorry i don't know!"
If they are selling games you would expect the people who work there to atleast to know something about the games.
So my suggestion is before you get all exicted on buying a game, ring the shop up first, to ask.
(Atleast you will be able to listen to their oldies collection for a few minutes!)

Its easy to whine about shops not knowing release dates without looking them up but did you actually stop to think how hard that actually is ?

I'd like to see you know every single release date for every game on every format !
Some shop assistants may know some of the big game release dates because they themselves are excited about its coming arrival.

But overall there are hundreds of games coming out and you can't expect these people to print every single one into their brain.

Thats the whole idea of having these release date books to look through !
