Yeah by an air pistol!

Walking back from the pub as you do with my mate, pppphhhhttt. 10 feet away there's a sound in the bushes to our right!

Round the corner and walk towards the pub and again, pppphhhhttt, about 5 feet away from us.....wtf was that!?!?!

Keep on walking past a bunch of nippers and birds about the age of 17+ and then hear a shot again that hits the telephone box that we were really near to! Call the police and guess what, the local police station shuts at 5.00pm and the nearest station is 20+ miles away!

We wait up the road for about 10 mins and nothing happens apart from seeing the group dissapate and disappear into the night. I'm now gonna expect a ring on the doorbell any second by the police to ask questions but if the local station had been open all night then they'd have been here quicker.

If we'd have been hit, either of us, there would have been uproar in our area....the thing is when I looked at one of the nippers who I think fired the pistol, it looked like he had a holster of some kind over his tracksuit top. I'm probably a marked man now, because as I reported it I had a fair few people looking up the road at us.

I'm not trying to be a killjoy here but for god's sake that could easily have blinded or killed either me or my mate and I'm not happy :-(

Sorry I forgot to mention in my first post, but the are I was walking home through has been dubbed "Beiruit" so you can imagine what the locals are like!

Thankfully I live about half a mile away from these bunch of losers!

That did make me laugh but I shouldn't really, what is happening in Washington is far worse and the sooner they catch that person the better.

No I live in good old Blightey, down on the sunny (sometimes) south coast :D

A while back, I think on GMTV, they were talking about some random loser who thought it would be funny to shoot some girl with and air pistol.
Well she lost her eyesight in one eye and her face was pretty deformed, which destroyed her prospective model career in one fell swoop.

Unbelievable.

It's terrible what is happening in Washington. I wonder how many he or she is gonna kill before being caught.

Considering that it's easy enough to kill someone with a well-folded piece of paper, I fail to see why you think something made of metal that shoots projectiles faster than formula 1 cars is so incredibly harmless.

Imagine you were carrying a compressed oxygen cylinder in your mouth, like Jaws did, and they shot that with an air pistol.

The ricochet could go into someones garden.

It can happen quite easily. There was a thing on TV about it ages ago. Some dude got shot at while on his motorbike by an air pistol and it punctured his lung or something. Apparently it aint that easy to breath with a hole in your chest...
