For a start, we had all this mortal kombat-esque music blasting out when it wasn't needed, then the camera work was all over the place, making it difficult to tell who was winning, let alone what the hell was going on.
Then the bloke (clearly the best fighter, not being sexist of course) was penalised for landing blows to the back of the head. Why this move should be illegal is beyond me. It seemed toned down too much to me to start off with. A fight is a fight, sure you should have rules, but this is just silly.
So to finish off, the guy who fought well and was definitely winning the fight, landing all the killer blows, was kicked out because he 'lacked control'. Maybe next episode they could just stand at opposite sides of the ring and shout profanities at each other ....
Maybe its just me, watching ultimate fighting championship all the time, but this made that old show Gladiators look violent.....
