Since drawing 0-0 at Newcastle United in the penultimate game of the 2000-01 Premiership season, we have embarked on an astonishing run which has seen football history rewritten.

The Gunners have scored in their last 48 league matches, avoided defeat in 30 successive Premiership games and won their last 12 league matches at Highbury.

Scoring sequence:

Sylvain Wiltord's goal against Southampton on February 2, 2002 eclipsed the Premiership record of 25.

Patrick Vieira's goal against Sunderland on March 30, 2002 beat the Club record of 31.

Thierry Henry's goal at Charlton on September 14, 2002 beat the top-flight record of 44 set by Manchester City in 1937.

Kanu's goal at Leeds on September 28, 2002 eclipsed the league record of 46 set by Chesterfield from 1929 to 1931.


Unbeaten run:

Our 3-0 win at Charlton on September 14, 2002 beat the Club record of 26 set by George Graham's squad from 1990-91.
