Yes, that's right.

In the early hours of this morning, sometime between 2 and 3 AM, the two Mario brothers decided to put their differences aside and announced the opening of a brand new business venture for the two siblings.

After making millions from their solo game appearances already, you would think that they'd want to give up for a while, maybe get a pension and settle down for a bit. But no, these are two hard working plumbers that will stop at nothing to save fellow humans.

The new business will be a FireStation and will either be named Super Fireshine Savers, or Luigi's Fire-Alright Mansion. But, as usual, the two had quite a fight over it and ended up throwing Koopa Shells at each and Luigi even went so far as to try and suck up his own brother in his Poltergust 3000.

Both Mario brothers have big ideas for the place, with a little help from GADD Industries.

Mario Mario, the older of the two said "We will-a try to-a have as much-a technology as-a we can! With the help-a of our-a friend Professor E. Gadd, the-a fire station will be-a full of-a FLUDD's. Obviously, I-a will need to-a train the workers, but the FLUDD's should-a help out too"

So it seems that the two Mario brothers are looking for this to be the most technologically advanced fire station as well. But that's not all! Luigi explained to us that "Both Mario and-a I will lead teams of-a fire fighters to the accident, one team lead-a by me with-a custom-made Poltergust 3000's, so it has advanced water spraying and the-a suck will be-a strong enough to-a collect flames, the other-a team will-a have FLUDD's and will-a be lead by Mario."

So this means that both the superstars will be around your house to save you! Talk about a good deal! Also we interviewed each of the Mario brothers about their ideas for the layout of the station.

Luigi said: "There will-a be a lot of-a things we will-a need to put into-a practice to save-a lives. Firstly, Professor E. Gadd is working on a new-a type-a of alarm; which-a actually turns into a robot and-a tries to fight the-a fire. These will-a be in the-a station when workers aren't-a there and can actually be-a bought for £30. Another-a thing that the-a Professor has been-a asked to make is-a fire-proof-greased fire-poles. This will-a coat the-a fire fighters in-a fire proof grease so that they cannot-a be hurt when-a trying to save-a lives. But other than these little-a devices and-a the custom-made-a Poltergust 3000's, the-a station will-a have a gimmick. Although I don't-a like the fact that I-a had to fight hoards of-a ghosts, the firestation will-a a double up as-a Haunted House. Once again, the-a Professor will-a be helping. Not-a only has he found-a some ghosts to work-a for us, but he can-a clone the house I searched exactly! Obviously there will-a be guards standing-a by in case the ghosts try-a to escape, but it should-a be fine."

But obviously, this would only happen if Mario gave it the all clear, as he himself had a few ideas of his own!

Mario said: "I-a respect-a my brothers opinion, but my-a ideas are much-a better. First-a of all, I have a very big-a idea. It may be hard-a to pull-a off, but the-a Professor has-a been working hard on it for 6-a months when I first-a told him about-a it. Gadd Industries will make-a huge satellite-screen to go over the-a sun. Of-a course, this will-a still mean the sun-a will shine the same, as the-a screen is-a transparent, but-a it will-a have a fire detector. Then-a the rays from-a the sun will-a be changed into jets of-a water and will-a be shot at-a the fire. This will-a mean we will-a only have to-a work in-a the night."

Then when we asked Mario if he was going to have a gimmick like Luigi he said: "Well, I have-a thought about this. If-a the screen does-a work, then I-a probably will give the-a station a gimmick. It will-a basically be-a health spa, as we will-a not have to-a work in-a the day. It could-a go open to-a the public, but I am not-a sure yet. But my plans are to have an indoor Beach, maybe a bar and-a 5000-Watt bulb to act as-a the sun."

Although the actual gimmick has not yet been decided, things are looking up for the world of fire stations!

I'll post any new information as it comes.

Cheers people.

I do agree about the Mario team, although the Poltergust's have two ways of fighting fires, Luigi is a baby and won't teach them properly.

As I said, I'll post more news as it comes (to my mind).

I reckon they might not be able to put out some of the fires because of glitchy eyes that can't be adjusted, and never seem to stay in the right place.

Still, good post.
