Anyhoo. Metroid Prime eh? Looks preeeeeeetty-damn-fine to me! I am getting more and more interested in this title, as I find more and more features that are in it. So, I have decided to trace its hostory bakc...back into the depths.....follow minions!
Samus Aran, or rather Lucy Benjamin-DeWhitt, was born on Planet Something-or other. She disliked her rather posh name, dispensing it for a more masculine name, being quite a tomboy. She soon showed signs of a slight advantage over her peers in terms of intelligence, and so studied Quantam Physics and Beheading Alien Scum at the age of 5, when her also highly futuristic peers were only learning Pythagoras and the 6 Steps to Easy Destruction Of Enemy Base. Of course, this made her a prime candidate for military service. She entered the military, and soon *ahem* advanced through the ranks very quickly. She by now had turned into a stunningly beautiful young woman. Despite this, her inferiorty complex led her to believe she was a very ugly person. So, she dropped out of the army, and made a special orange suit for herself. In doing so, she also added many features, making her more flexible than a 18ft gaint Bendy tube, and more versatile than a Swiss Army Knife at a Versatility contest. Indeed.
Anyway, she soon shied away from the lucrative contracts of super model stardom offered to her by large Modeling agencies, and then, following her tomboy streak, she decided to go and shoot things. So she became a bounty hunter. Soon she became embroiled in all that stuff on Planet Zebes, to stop the Mother Brain from taking over the power of the Metroids. Of course, she was victorious, and of course, many more adventures befell her, on other planets like the beautifully named SR388 (Any connection?!) the homeworld of the Metroids (!). Soon she was a highly famed celebrity in the 2-D platforming universe, and so was asked, at the age of only 23, to star in the largest televised show in history - Super Smash Brothers! Soon, the contracts began to pour back in, the agencies wanting to know more about her 'fabulous' orange suit. However, a few quick missiles and spin jumps later, and she was away, back into solitude. Soon, suitors, such as Chippy McChipperton and the super star male model Slicky Ricky, began to approach the clad beauty, but she declined. So now, after many battles, both against other superstars, and against evil brain things, she is now entering the depths of Zebes once again.............and what shall we find? Any amazing plot twists? The tomboy is actualy a man? The Mother Brain is actualy her Mum? Lets wait and see.
One things for sure, Lucy-Benjamin DeWhitt will not give in without a fight!

I'm waiting with baited breath for Metroid Prime, and I truly think it's going to be something special. Nintendo are the Kings (and Queens!) of gaming, so they should be able to pull off a FPS rather well, with their own unique twist.
This is one game that looks very promising.
