Well that has happened to me with Oasis' 'Little By Little'.
Instead of hearing the correct lyrics I hear:
"Stuart Little by little,
The wheels of your plane keep slowly falling off."
Stuart Little, you see is a mouse, from the Stuart Little movies. I haven't seen either of these movies, but thanks to their trailers being on 'The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland' and 'Kermit's Swamp Years', I'm pretty familiar with the character.
So when I hear the song, I see the stupid little mouse, in his toy plane, only the wheels fall off.
But that's not the end of it. Oh no.
I couldn't be doing with this, it was stupid. I had to think of something else to replace this stupid vision in my head.
So now, rather than "Little by little" or "Stuart Little by little" I get "Lidl by Lidl" and consider the song to be a social commentary on the poor state of the majority of city and town centres, with hoards of very nasty cheapie shops, side by side, with very little difference between the two.
Believe it or not, this hasn't helped.
I been told it "Call me to wake her up" or something.
Sounds more like "Oh Cheryl Ba-a-ker"

Hehehehe.
'Scrotum dance the silence down through the morning...'
Should be 'so come dance the silence...'.

That wasn't by The Police bud. Cant tell you who did it right now but I'm positive it wasn't them.
Absolutely ruined it for me that did...
