Edgy's got a point, but it can't be denied that lots of people are taking the September 11th attacks light heartedly now. Personally, I think it shows we can move on, not lack respect.

Such celebreties as Dawn & French have even made jokes about it too.

To me it seemed like a joke because of the topic being named 'old news'.

It wasn't meant to be funny.

Sure, maybe in ten or so years, the events of September 11th wont be remembered so much as the tragic event it was to so many, and jokes similar to those of World Wars and such will appear. But joking just over one year on still doesn't feel right and I'm sure many others will agree.

If using the World Trade Center event in a topic, make it a serious topic, not a joke.
