Sony have seen sense and finally released a PSP demo on the web. The game is Locoroco and it's pretty cute and addictive. Could well be a new cult game.
So how do you get it?
Well, first you'll need to upgrade your firmware to 2.70 (go to www.yourpsp.com and follow the instructions from the link on the homepage).
Then go to:
PSP Japan site
and click on the picture at the bottom, then scroll down to the button that says download.
Download it, stick it on your PSP in the folder PSP/GAME/UCJS1O041/
Finally, go to the Game screen and scroll to the memory card option to find it.
Instructions:
Left shoulder button - Tilt screen left (and jump right when rolling right).
Right shoulder button - Tilt screen right (and jump left when rolling left).
Both shoulder buttons - Jump straight up.
Circle (double tap) - Split your character into lots of little bits.
Circle (hold down) - Reform into one big blob!
So to move left, you hold down the left shoulder button so your blob will roll down across the tilted landscape. To jump left whilst you are moving left you press the right shoulder button and vice versa.
You need to split into lots of little blobs at certain points in the level as well.
