I have (:P). And my first impressions were that this guy has a lot of free-time on his hands! Either that or he just loves bottles. But it did make me realise how important the Bottle has been and always will be, and I intend to show to you ALL how important The Nintendo GameCube is and always will be in my very-own version here.
Enjoy: :)
The GameCube. A console for kids, so small you can loose it down the back of your chair like a set of Keys or 20p coins, yet it is still loved by so-many.
SONY's PlayStation 2 may be ontop of the pack, and the X-Box may be proving popular for the likes of Halo and Halo 2, but the GameCube has something to offer us that nobody else could ever give. Nintendo.
Without their originallity and innovation, this World of Gaming would just be a bore.
Every Platformer would look and play exactly the same, all the RPG's would be based-around the exact same plot, Multiplayer games would be limited to just 2, while First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategys would appear more dull and repetative than ever before.
We must thank Nintendo for opening-up the new lanes on their tiny GameCube.
If they had not had handed us down a piece of history then we'd be stuck in a world of violence and crime where Evil Monsters and Space Aliens are destroying the world.
It may be directed towards the Children of Today, but this only gives kids something to do so that adults can go-off and enjoy some time to themselves, rather than having to listen to "I'm bored! I'm bored!" every 5 seconds.
It is also a creation for bringing people together with its wide-array of adictive and un-beatable multiplayer games, no matter what the theme may be.
Try not to think of them as the Children of 'Today', but as the Adults of 'Tommorow'. This is a masterpiece that can bring youngsters together and to help prepare them for the world that awaits them when they decide to live-life on their own.
The world is now a better place once again, and it's all thanks to the arrival of the GameCube. Super Mario has arrived and is returning sanity to the minds of all Gamers who've felt 'lost' and 'be-wildered' during the last 5 or 6 years without him.
We have GameCube. We still have Nintendo. We need no more.
What good is a PS2 or X-Box without competition?
What good are they to the younger generation??
Without the Cube, we would never see Mario or Link... ever again!
The GameCube - a neccessity of life.
Hope you enjoyed it. :)
I must love the GameCube that-much, just like how that guy loves his bottle.
Sure, the gaming world would be considerably less developed and innovative if Nintendo never existed, but I think it's worth appreciating that there a lot of other geniuses in the industry, aswell as Nintendo. It's people like SEGA that would have adapted to work without Nintendo, and ultimately, thought of the great ideas The Big N has brought us.
I see your point though, we owe a lot to Nintendo :).
Try loading up a slow, heartwarming CD and playing whilst reading that.
